Scoring system

Every successful field goal and free throw is worth 1 point. No 2-point scoring system is used.

Game play rules

  • First possession is determined by a coin toss.
  • After every successful basket, the opposing team restarts from the baseline.
  • After a defensive rebound or steal, clear the ball beyond the designated attacking line before scoring.
  • All fouls, violations and out-of-bounds result in a turnover to the opposing team.
  • Coaches are not permitted inside the playing area during a match.

Substitutions & discipline

Substitutions: Unlimited during dead-ball situations or when allowed by the referee.

Tie-breaker: Sudden Death—first team to score wins. A free-throw shootout may decide the winner if needed.

Fouls: Officials record personal fouls. Unsportsmanlike conduct or technical fouls can result in warnings, penalties or disqualification. Referee decisions are final.
